Ministry Opportunities
All of the activities at Faith Lutheran Church are centered on Jesus Christ, on who He is and what He has done for us and how that affects the way we live.
As members of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC), we believe that the faith and life of the Christian is lived under the Word of God and the Spirit of God. So that Word and Spirit guide all of our ministries.
As followers of Christ, we all need opportunities for spiritual nurture and growth, guided by the Word and Spirit of God. We also need opportunities for Christian service.
Sunday School ... Sundays at 10:20 am
Sunday School begins with an opening of songs and activities before the students are dismissed into classes. For more information, contact Mrs. Arnola Mitchell.
Confirmation Classes ... Wednesdays at 7:00 pm
Confirmation is a two-year discipleship class of study with the Pastor, usually during grades 7 and 8. For more information, contact Pastor Ken Hart.
Adult Bible Study ... Sundays at 11:00 am
A variety of Bible Studies are offered weekly throughout the year. For more information, contact Pastor Ken Hart.
Women's Bible Study ... Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 pm.
A variety of Bible Studies usually focussed on women's topics are offered twice a month. For more information contact Mrs. Karen Hart.
Worship Choir ... Wednesdays at 7:00
All are welcome to join the Worship Choir which meets for practice each Wednesday evening at 7:00 (September through May) and generally sings each month during the Worship Service. For more information contact Mrs. Karen Hart.
Junior Choir ... Sundays during Sunday School
All children from pre-school through elementary make up the Junior Choir, which meets for practice during Sunday School (September through May) and usually sings during the Worship Service on the fourth Sunday each month. For more information contact Mrs. Arnola Mitchell.
Quilters ... Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 1:00
The quilters work together to assemble quilts as a ministry to the Lord. They normally meet twice a week. All are welcome (whatever your sewing skills are), there is always plenty to do and good fellowship doing it! For more information contact Verneeda Bohlmeyer.
Community Worship Services
Monthly worship services are held at both Nursing Homes (Gardenside and Heritage), as well as at the assisted living facility (Cedarwood).
